Dear colleagues!
Indonesia is one of Russia's key trading partners in the Asia-Pacific region. In the context of intensifying interaction between Russian business and Asian countries, the actively growing Indonesian market is becoming a promising direction for increasing Russian food supplies.
Our relations with Indonesia in the sphere of trade in agro-industrial products are just beginning to develop, but have great potential. Trade turnover of agricultural products between our countries increased by 11% in 2022 compared to the same period last year. At the same time, in 2022 exports of Russian products increased by one and a half times. This year the strong growth continues due to increased supplies of grain products.
Active growth of trade turnover and prospects for expanding cooperation require building long-term business contacts. Therefore, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Federal Center "Agroexport" organised a business mission of Russian exporting companies to Indonesia. I wish fruitful negotiations and lucrative contracts to all business mission participants.

SERGEY LEVIN
DEPUTY MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE
OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Dear friends!
Indonesia is one of the largest and fastest developing countries in Southeast Asia. The country has a large and growing population. In 2022 it increased by 1.3% and by the beginning
of this year reached 283 million people. Economic development allows to predict rapid income growth – by 4% per year over
the next 10 years, which will lead to an increase in the share of the middle class.
Tourism is actively recovering in Indonesia. That contributes to the increased demand in the HoReCa sector and sales growth in the retail segment. E-commerce continues to develop. This increases attractiveness of the Indonesian market and creates great opportunities for Russian exporters.
Leading Russian agro-industrial exporting companies are participating in our business mission. Russian business has a great interest in the Indonesian market and is ready to expand cooperation in the field of food supplies. I am confident that the business mission will help find new partners and strengthen already well established ties between the companies of the two countries.
